Color Manila Run 2018
There’s no better way to start your race calendar than enjoy the multitude of colors at Color Manila Run. That’s how I started my year for the past 6 year and it still remains as fun an as visually exciting as ever. Continue reading
Run 4 Ur Future
Run 4 Ur Future sent a message of the importance of savings to their runners. It was a chill run for weekend warriors like me. The overcast weather was perfect for a feel good run. Anytime, I get to add mileage to my weekend schedule is always fun in my books. Continue reading
Run GNC 2016
Run GNC 2016 was another feel good run. It had thousands of participants but it had enough leg room to for you to run. It was a fast and flat course with a little bit of flyover. It’s a welcome variety for a 10K MOA and Roxas Boulevard route to utilize the flyover at Buendia for that hilly feel. Continue reading
Pacing 10K at Run United 1 2016
I’ve been pacing for Run United since they started the system over a year ago. The unique part of this year was they extended the pace groups to the 8 minute per kilometer pace group. I’m sure this group would live by #ActiveHealthPh mantra of Exceeding Themselves as they get pushed to get pass the 1:20 barrier for 10 kilometers. #2016RunUnited1 #RU1 #ExceedYourself Continue reading
UNICEF Heroes For Children Run
I’m starting to love the shorter distance once again as I opted for another 10K Run at the UNICEF’s Heroes for Children Run. It was Anne Curtis first ever 21K run and all the effort for this run goes to the cause of UNICEF’s 1,000 days campaign. It had the support of about 3,000 runners that included celebrities who even made it to the podium. Cheers to Anne not only for finishing her first half marathon but for also being an active host for the event and the campaign. Continue reading
Pacing 10K at Run United Philippine Marathon
After chasing the longer distances, I was back at 10K distance pacing a faster time of 1:05. While the race was quick, the preparation wasn’t easy as I had to relearn running at a faster pace. 10K is such an intense distance because you can really go all-out on this one and get a really good finish time. Aside from pacing, it was also fun cheering the runners as it was time to #ExceedYourself once again at #RunUnitedPhilippineMarathon Continue reading
#UARoadShowManila Stephen Curry Visits Manila
I was an ultimately fanboy last Saturday, September 5 as I was able to cover both the prescon and the fan event for UA Roadshow Manila featuring Stephen Curry. Stephen Curry has risen to super stardom this year with an NBA MVP and Championship to boot. He personifies passion, hard work and excellence on the court and he’s an even bigger role model of the court with his faith and his family. Under Armour has been a brand I’ve grown to love due to its style, performance feature and technology. #UARoadshowManila was a huge success as Manila got to see the humility and greatness of Stephen Curry and the latter also got to experience the love and the warmth of the Filipinos. Continue reading
Alaska Cycle Philippines Unites Family and Friends as They Pedal for Health and Nutrition
Albert Einstein once said that, “Life is like a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving”. Alaska kept people moving together as they pedaled their bikes to promote Health and Nutrition last May 15-17, 2015 at the SM Mall of Asia. Families and friends came in their cycle as they joined the different categories from kid friendly categories to the community, Foldies community and the challenge ride. Continue reading
Pinoyfitness Sub 1 Challenge 2015
Distance:10K Location: SM Mall of Asia Date: March 29, 2015 It took me a few months of consistent training before getting my first Sub 1 10K time. I like that Pinoyfitness has pushed this concept to challenge runners to have a goal and to train for it. It’s not an easy goal but it’s a … Continue reading
