#TaleOfTheTrail Ambuklao Dam (Ambuklao, Bokod, Benguet)

We were Trail-struck at Ambuklao Trail as it gave us a view of the Ambuklao Lake and the different mountain range as we went around the perimeter of the Lake. The trail is a bit raw and a bit dangerous in some portions because of the brittle soil but once you brave the tough part, you’re gonna be impressed by the beauty of Ambuklao Lake. #TaleOfTheTrail Ampucao – Sta Fe Trail (Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet)

It’s not an easy trail but as you struggle catching your breath climbing about 500 meters worth of elevation, you get mesmerized by the scenery that surrounds you. You get the Pine Tree rich trails that would keep you shaded on the early part. There’s the long ridge path that you’d love to run with a scenic backdrop of the mountains. There’s the Ampucao / Philex Ridge which gives you a panoramic view of the whole area. There’s Mount Ulap showcasing a lush green surface and about 1,858 MASl worth of natural attractions. #TaleofTheTrail Lion Rock (New Territories, Hong Kong)

Lion Rock is not the highest peak but it gives you a panoramic view of the Kowloon and Shatin Area. It just speak volumes on how Hong Kong has maintained a large forested area even as they progressed into a modern city. #TaleOfTheTrail Lantau Peak (Lantau Island, Hong Kong)

Lantau Peak is the second highest peak in Hong Kong at 934 meters. It’s Section 3 of the Lantau Trail, which has a total distance of 70 kilometers. This section leads you to the Lantau Peak and then eventually to Ngong Ping, where the largest outdoor sitting Buddha is located in Lantau Island. It’s a lung-buster with a total ascent of about 600 meters just in the first 2.5 kilometers but the trek is worth the view of Lantau Island, the neighboring Sunset Peak and the Ngong Ping.
