In Review: Suunto Spartan Sport WHR

Suunto Spartan Sport WHR brings the usual effective GPS and heart rate monitoring without the chest strap. It uses a wrist heart rate monitor using optical sensors. #TaleofTheTrail Lion Rock (New Territories, Hong Kong)

Lion Rock is not the highest peak but it gives you a panoramic view of the Kowloon and Shatin Area. It just speak volumes on how Hong Kong has maintained a large forested area even as they progressed into a modern city. It gets its name as the rock at its peak is shaped like a lion overlooking the city. It’s gonna take your breath away with the climbs and with the view from the peak. Continue reading »

#TaleOfTheTrail Mount Kinabalu (Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia)

Mountains are not meant to be conquered but by climbing it we conquer ourselves – our own limits, fears and inhibitions. The climb humbles as with its tough terrain that make us revisit our sanity, patience and perseverance. It also gives us a better appreciation of the beauty of nature at its raw form. Trekking Mt. Kinabalu’s 4,095 meters of elevation is really tough but each difficult step makes you stronger and in a better condition to reach and appreciate the out-of-this-world view from the top of Mt. Kinabalu. #TaleOfTheTrail Continue reading »

#TaleOfTheTrail Mount Talamitam (Nasugbu, Batangas)

” Trekking Mountains is always a struggle. We get humbled by the ascent but it makes us stronger.  Run, Walk, Crawl, Rest until the summit is conquered.
