Incoming: Anawim Grace Run For A Cause

We live in a country that values the elderly and apart from our Parents,  Titos and Titas, we develop an intimate bond with our grandparents and take care of them as they reach old age.  Yet, even with our known respect and warmth towards the elderly, there’s are still those who have been abandoned and don’t enjoy the care of their kins.  This is where ANAWIM comes in.  ANAWIM is a small facility founded by Catholic lay preacher BO SANCHEZ for poor and abandoned elderly people which would serve as a HOME and SANCTUARY for the poor and abandoned elderly who roam the streets and have nowhere else to go.  Anawim Grace Run for a Cause aims to raise some funds for them.  Think about this, every stride you make would brighten up their day and bring a smile to their faces.  I’m sure the while you enjoy your run at the streets of Pasig, there also that warmth you get when you get to uplift a person’s life through this run for a cause.

This would also coincide with the First Year Anniversary of Pinoy Aspiring Runners (PAR) and instead of throwing a lavish celebration, they opted to help out the elderly folks at Anawim.  From a nation that values the elderly, I’m sure you’d also want to lend a helping hand through this run.  Aside from having a good cause, the race comes with an affordable cost that comes with a singlet, bib and medals for all runners.     Mark your calendars on January 26 at the Fontera Verde Grounds, Tiendesitas in Pasig City, Anawim Grace Run for a Cause is happening so head over to Mizuno Outlets in MOA, Trinoma, Galleria and ATC to Register!
