It was a last minute but through Eunice contacts, we were able to register in Rock & Run. This would be my first run at the Fort. It was a different run in the sense that it happened at night and not knowing that there’ll be another R that would come along the way. It was the heavy Rain and upon seeing people so excited to run even with the rain, we joined the fun in Running in the Rain. Into my third race, moving up to 5K and being able to run for the first time at night and the rain just puts the FUN in fun run.
The rain was refreshing in a way that you’ll always feel hydrated. It was fun playing like kids in the rain and with cool rock music as your backdrop. Anything can happen within a race and the weather will always pose to be a challenge or a source of enjoyment. I’m glad to take part in such a unique experience.
