When it comes to fitness, Men Health is among the enduring fitness mags that gives us timely fitness tips and features.  Their August Issue brings us more topic with fitness tips from no less than our SEA Game Champs.  They give you a fitter look at the metro by giving different fitness ratings in the Metro. They also bring you a feature with an emerging star, Nadine Lustre in their Woman Section.

1) It’s All About Fitness Tips of our SEA Games Champ

Just a few months ago, we were tuned in the recent South East Asian (SEA) Games.  We may not have been among the top teams in the mix but there were a lot of highlights and a lot of surprises.  We got to see an emerging sport in Triathlon give us Gold Medals and Podium Finishes.  We get to see rugby bringing us pride in the games too. Of course, SEA Games won’t be complete without bringing home the Basketball Gold.  Earning a gold medal at the SEA Games requires good fitness habits and right mind conditioning.  The issue features fitness tips and routines of our nation’s pride and SEA’s best in Kiefer Ravena (Basketball), Jake Letts (Rugby) and Nikko Huelgas (Triathlon) who all got the gold in the SEA Games.  Kiefer always adheres to his mentors adage, “when you eat junk, you play like junk.” Fil Australian Jake of Philippine Volcanoes loves the pace, ferocity and stamina required for a workout.  Triathlon champs relies on complex carbs before each training. 2) It’s About Fitness Ratings of Metro Manila Cities

Men’s Health also lists and rates the fittest cities in Metro Manila.  Fitness initiatives from select local governments, quality of life and overall health are used to determine which cities are on the right track of promoting and supporting a healthy lifestyle for its inhabitants.  They also provide the best place to exercise and do sports.  You get to see different fitness hubs that promotes a variety of sports and healthy lifestyle activities in the Metro.  It gives you some fitness idea that’s probably just a few blocks away from where you reside as we have fitness centers everywhere.
