Takbo.PH Runfest is more than just a run – it’s a tradition and a celebration of the running lifestyle. Takbo.PH celebrates 7 years of running and being among the pioneers of running community in the country. So register, gear up, run and also send a helping hand along the way by adding an additional P50 to your registration or joining the Walk for Wishes categories. The P50 and registration for the walk for wishes category goes directly to Make A Wish Foundation. The event is happening on July 12, 2015 at Bonifacio Global City with 5K, 10K and 21K categories plus the special 500 meters walk for wishes categories. #TakboPH

Takbo.PH Runfest is always part of my race calendar since it has the feel of community run where you get to meet the regular faces in the running community as well as the newbies starting their journey. It’s a newbie friendly environment with a more relaxed atmosphere but it also can challenge experienced runners especially when it comes to elevation gains at the Bonifacio Global City. It’s a run for everybody and can be an excellent bonding race for family, friends, work mates and school mates. Takbo.PH always reminds me of how I started running and why I still do it until now. It’s a celebration of the running lifestyle and if you haven’t started it yet, maybe this is the good time to join. Save the date July 12, 2015 at Bonifacio Global City and choose your distance from 500 meters, 5K, 10K and 21K category and don’t forget to bring along your family and friends to celebrate life and to celebrate running.
We don’t only keep our hearts healthy with a good dosage of running, we also keep it warm by helping others. Let’s make wishes come true and Takbo.PH gives you several options. You can simply add P50 to your registration fees or you can join a really fun 500 meter walk for wishes category then you can donate online or to the make a wish booth at the event. You can also grant wishes as a group. That’s a lot of ways to help and make a difference. Every little help could mean a lot!
