Cordillera Mountain Run 2016

Cordillera Mountain Run was a key race for me. It was a beautiful course with the mountains and Agno river enveloped by the clouds. The climb felt endless but the scenic masterpiece around you made the struggle worth it. #TaleOfTheTrail Dalupirip – Bantik (Itogon, Benguet)

Dalupirip is the starting point of the Cordillera Mountain Ultra both for the 21K and 50K categories on June 5, 2016. The Dalupirip – Bantik stretch is a rolling course for most parts and ends with a vertical kilometer heading to Bantik. Sta Fe Trail Run

There are no wasted moments when it comes to Sta Fe Trail Run. Each part of the trail will have your eyes feasted with the raw beauty of nature that includes a rich Pine Tree infested Forest, a ridge-view of the mountain ranges and the Ampucao Ridge. That beauty comes with a struggle as you have to huff and puff your way to steep climbs and brave the descents, which would leave you stronger and satisfied as you cross the finish line. #TaleOfTheTrail Ampucao – Sta Fe Trail (Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet)

It’s not an easy trail but as you struggle catching your breath climbing about 500 meters worth of elevation, you get mesmerized by the scenery that surrounds you. You get the Pine Tree rich trails that would keep you shaded on the early part. There’s the long ridge path that you’d love to run with a scenic backdrop of the mountains. There’s the Ampucao / Philex Ridge which gives you a panoramic view of the whole area. There’s Mount Ulap showcasing a lush green surface and about 1,858 MASl worth of natural attractions. Incoming: Radar Run 2015

It’s been a great tradition climbing the radar to be 7,400++ feet above sea level before the year ends for Radar Run. Let’s tweak that tradition a bit with 10K Trail Rock Run with 2 kilometers of Roads, 8 kilometers of uphill trails and at the picture perfect moment at the top of the ROCK. Radar Run gets a 10K Trail Rock Run change and it comes on December 30, 2015 with a 10K distance that’s both challenging and beautiful. Continue reading »
