We’ve all been witnesses to the destruction Typhoon Yolanda has brought the Philippines and a lot has stepped up and gave a helping hand.  That’s the type of bayanihan spirit that pervades at times of Catastrophe and with Christmas just a few days away, comes a run that’s gonna make you A Santa to the children victims of Yolanda.  Christmas exists even times when we are still picking up the pieces and in fact, it’s probably the glimmer of hope needed to show that everything will be fine.  Our resiliency comes from having the warmth in our heart and our lighthearted nature that clings on to traditions like Christmas, the usual occasions and the finer side of life.
