Incoming: Pinoy Fitness 21K Challenge

Posted by on 1. September 2014

When you add a goal into your run, it becomes a journey. Pinoy Fitness brings you a challenge that will test your speed and resiliency in a half marathon distance.  So will you take the Pinoy Fitness 21K Challenge? “

Running is a Journey

Why do you run?

  • You are the weekend warrior who always want to obliterate personal records and push yourself to the next level.
  • You are a seasoned or even a newbie runner out to chase a decent time for a half marathon distance.
  • You are a passionate runner who just runs for fun and for the love of it.
  • You are the team player who just wants to spend a good run with your friends or your team.

If you are among the people above, the Pinoy Fitness 21K challenged is just right for you.

Sub 2XU Wave

  • Many are called but only a few percentage finish a half marathon within two hour.  It’s not mission impossible though. If you’re driven with obliterating personal records and train consistently for this, you’ll eventually get there.  The rewards are also great for this one as the finishers get to have a limited edition 2XU finisher shirt and all qualified runners get to take home the Pinoy Fitness Sub 2XU Finisher Medal.

Challenge Wave (sub 2:30 qualifying time)

While only a few percentage go to the sub 2 finish time, a 2:30 finish time is much more doable for seasoned runners who regularly log in the mileage. It can also be an excellent target for first time half marathoners.  Finishers get to have a Pinoy Fitness finisher shirt while all qualifiers get to have the Pinoy Fitness 21K Challenge Medal.

Fun Wave

And for the passionate runner who just loves to run and log in their weekend mileage, there’s a more relaxed fun wave category, where you can run at a desired pace and not worry of any cutoff.

21K Team Challenge Category

If team play is your strong suit, you can opt for the Team Challenge.  A group of 5 people in any category can compete in the 21K Team Challenge as a Team.  It would also be much more fun running with your friends while chasing a goal.

The journey to the Pinoy Fitness 21K Challenge begins.  Register now. Start piling up the miles, start hitting the hills, start doing intervals and speed sets as the journey just gets better when you’re equipped with ample training.  Come November 16, give yourself a happy ending by getting your regular dose of adrenalin rush on the way to reaching your personal goal.  Are you game for the challenge?

I would love to see this event, 21k is just too long for me lol

  2. Pam / Hey, Miss Adventures!

My heart’s condition would not allow me to run or even jog for long – I easily lose my breath! Or maybe I should just try and train harder and then maybe I could try 21K marathons like these. Haha!

  3. Joanna Sormunen

21K, that is a lot of running. For real athletes only.

  4. Sam

First timers can definitely do this, with proper training!

  5. Fernando Lachica

More medals for you Franc and this one will be yours too.
