Carrera de Oro is a Golden Run, which is in time to Celebrate the Golden Jubilee for San Sebastian College – Recoletos de Cavite.  Aside from the Golden Tribute, Carrera de Oro would also be a showcase of the beauty and heritage of the Cavite area as this would be a new route and new scenery to add to your running bucket list.  The Run is happening on January 24, 2016 to start at Recoletos 4th Centennial Gymnasium, Padre Burgos Street, Bp. Running in a new environment is always refreshing. With Carrera de Oro, you get to enjoy and appreciate the views and rich heritage of Cavite.  This is a unique escape from the usual runs in the congested Metro Manila area.  You get new views, new attractions and a much fresher air.  Carrea de Oro is happening on January 24, 2016 with categories that’s perfect for all age and sizes. They have the really short 500 meter, 1 kilometer, 3 kilometer and 5 kilometer distances for newbies and short distance runners. Then there’s 10 kilometers and 16 kilometers for those who want to go the distance and explore more territories.

Bring in friends and family as this will also be a celebration just in time for the Golden Jubilee of San Sebastian College – Recoletos de Cavite.  The festive atmosphere would be perfect as you jump start your 2016 running year.  It’s a whole new race and the location would allow you to explore new places as the new year approaches.  This could be a bucket list race for those who would love to run in a different scenery.  Register Now!!!

  • How to get to Cavite:
    • From Manila, the BLTB buses would pass by the national road in Carmona coming from the South Super Highway. A road intersection could be found along the national road wherein a smaller road branches out leading to City land subdivision in Carmona which is adjacent to Barangay Ulong Tubig. Jeeps or tricycles are available at the said intersection and would be passing by the subdivision

    I love the fact that they covered short distances too, for people who are new at this and would like to give it a try. There’s a slot for kids as well which is awesome!

    Finding a new route to run is so refreshing especially to experienced runners. 🙂 Short-distances that are friendly for kids, newbies, and maybe senior citizens are great.
