My Travels

I always have half my foot onward to a new adventure and through the years, I’ve been able to explore places and have a better appreciation of the varying landscapes, cultures and attractions. I love to Travel!!! Each place is a new experience and a new story waiting to be told and a new adventure waiting to unfold.

#TaleOfTheTrail Mount Paliparan (Tanay, Rizal)

Mount Paliparan was not an easy climb. There were steep ascents that came with the really warm morning. We also had to maneuver our way to sharp rocky cliffs. The muddy surfaces also came into play. It was hard but as all things in life, there is always a way to overcome them. At the end of the day, we end up stronger and more appreciative of the beauty that surrounds us. Continue reading »

#TaleOfTheTrail Mount Fuji (Fujiyama, Japan)

Mount Fuji is a bucket list climb being the highest peak in Japan at 3766 Meters Above Sea Level. Experiencing it was surreal as we had to go on continuous ascent, tackle different technical surfaces and manage the freezing cold climate towards the Summit. Mount Maculot is a feel good climb. It has the lush green forest reserve and magnificent view of Taal lake from the rockies andthe summit. #TaleOfTheTrail Tangadan Falls (San Gabriel, La Union)

Tangadan Falls is a hidden gem. It takes around one hour to go over the beautiful trail that passes through the Baroro River, the fields, the Forrest shaded reserves, the limestone formations and several cliffs coming from Barangay Duplas, Bagulin, San Gabriel, La Union. The falls is even more impressive with the mix of nature, limestone formation, the cold water dropping from above and the river basin that’s excellent for a good swim. #TaleOfTheTrail Continue reading »

#TaleOfTheTrail Dalupirip – Bantik (Itogon, Benguet)

Dalupirip is the starting point of the Cordillera Mountain Ultra both for the 21K and 50K categories on June 5, 2016. The Dalupirip – Bantik stretch is a rolling course for most parts and ends with a vertical kilometer heading to Bantik. The beauty of the route is it goes you a view of the nearby mountain ranges and the Agno River. Continue reading »

#TaleOfTheTrail Camp Sinai, Pintong Bukawe, Casile, Inigan (San Mateo, Rizal)

Camp Sinai has a giant tablet of the 10 commandments. Aside from that you get a majestic view of the Siera Mountain Range with the clouds and the mountains painting a beautiful picture. #TaleOfTheTrail Ambuklao Dam (Ambuklao, Bokod, Benguet)

We were Trail-struck at Ambuklao Trail as it gave us a view of the Ambuklao Lake and the different mountain range as we went around the perimeter of the Lake. The trail is a bit raw and a bit dangerous in some portions because of the brittle soil but once you brave the tough part, you’re gonna be impressed by the beauty of Ambuklao Lake.
