My Travels

I always have half my foot onward to a new adventure and through the years, I’ve been able to explore places and have a better appreciation of the varying landscapes, cultures and attractions. I love to Travel!!! Each place is a new experience and a new story waiting to be told and a new adventure waiting to unfold.

#TaleOfTheTrail Sunset Peak (Lantau Island, Hong Kong)

Sunset Peak gave a summit meets the sea view but it also came with a lot of challenge. It was about 7 kilometers of pure climb starting from Mui Wo Ferry Station on a really hot day. The view did make up for all the effort of the climb. Continue reading »

#TaleOfTheTrail Tung-Tong Falls (Brgy Cuyambay, Tanay, Rizal)

#TaleOfTheTrail visits the 10K loop for the upcoming BTR Double Terrain Challenge on August 6, 2017.  It’s a run-able loop featuring various views of Mount Paliparan.  The route also has a river trail stretch heading to Tung-Tong Falls before it goes on an uphill journey.  It’s newbie friendly… for most parts. Captivating Catanduanes

Catanduanes was captivating. I got to appreciate the simpler, fresher and cleaner provincial life. I also got to be awed by its wonderful scenery. #TaleOfTheTrail Mount Paliparan (Tanay, Rizal)

Mount Paliparan was not an easy climb. There were steep ascents that came with the really warm morning. We also had to maneuver our way to sharp rocky cliffs. The muddy surfaces also came into play. It was hard but as all things in life, there is always a way to overcome them. At the end of the day, we end up stronger and more appreciative of the beauty that surrounds us. Continue reading »
