World Vision

When we see poverty head on, we just give a sigh of hopelessness and let things be but then there are some organization that has taken initiative to reach out to these kids and give them something that can help them take life a step further with proper education.  World Vision is an international organization that has a goal of having children to live life to the fullest and has been in the forefront of this mission for over 50 years already.  It’s child sponsorship program has helped millions of Children worldwide and more than 100,000 in the Philippines.  It connects sponsors with children who needs the support to education and did you know that with just P600 monthly or P7,200 a year, you can help a kid go to school with World Vision.  You don’t have to be the richest person to help alleviate poverty, you just need to dole out a little of what we have to those who need them.

Jojo Pauly, one of our running photographer, is a product of World Vision

Jojo Pauly, one of the running community’s photographer is a product of World Vision having been supported by a sponsor under World Vision.  He is always grateful for how World Vision helped him when he was still in studying.  Let’s give the world more Jojo Pauly who get’s a good education and a better life because of World Vision.  If everybody just give out a helping hand, imagine how we can alleviate poverty.  I hope a lot of people would help in this endeavor, as for me, I just supported their Child Sponsorship program.  It’s not much but knowing that someone out there would have a better life makes it really satisfying.
